Jensen-Healey Jensen-Healey

The Jensen-Healey paired a Lotus-developed 16-valve four-cylinder with a traditional British roadster layout, and late cars like this 1977 example are now rarely seen. This one is registered PHA 789R.

Its engine was rebuilt by Rees Bros around 1987, when the car had covered 68,814 miles. A two-year recommissioning by a classic car specialist followed, finishing in July 2022. The work covered a major engine service, a new timing belt and tensioner, a reconditioned water pump, a new radiator and fuel pump, and an overhauled prop shaft.

The chassis has new shock absorbers, springs, an upgraded anti-roll bar kit and a full polybush set. It also has new front discs and pads and new rear shoe linings. It sits on refurbished Minilite wheels in satin black with Vredestein tyres. Inside, the wooden dashboard has been re-veneered, and a new black mohair tonneau cover is fitted. The car has been stored since the work was finished.
