The Laredo was the most heavily equipped of the SJ-series Cherokees, and this 1980 two-door is a left-hand-drive example finished in black with the silver Laredo striping. It has the 5.9-litre "360" V8 and an automatic gearbox, along with power windows, power seats, power steering and cruise control.
The odometer reads 17,000 miles. The dealer bought the car in the United States and used it in Los Angeles, where it covered a little over 1,000 miles. Since it arrived in the UK, the page records more than £10,000 spent on mechanical work and over £18,000 on paintwork. The original Western Weave cloth interior is retained, with grey trim.
Cherokees of this age are scarce in the UK, and a Laredo with a retained interior and recent bodywork is a more unusual find than most. Price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (AMC/Jeep SJ Cherokee facts I'm confident of; I couldn't confirm 1980 Laredo factory engine and performance figures, so they are null).
