Honda NSX

The second-generation NSX represents Honda's most technically ambitious road car — a mid-engined hybrid supercar built around a twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 paired with three electric motors, producing 500 bhp and routing drive through a nine-speed dual-clutch gearbox and an all-wheel-drive system. Unlike many electrified performance cars, the NSX uses its front-axle motors principally for torque vectoring, lending it an agility and precision that belies the complexity underneath.

This 2017 example presents in Curva Red — one of the more purposeful colour choices for the car — with 6,830 miles from a single owner from new. The specification includes the carbon ceramic brake package (a £8,400 factory option that meaningfully improves fade resistance and pedal feel), the Technology Package, and heated sports seats, all within a black leather interior with Alcantara headliner. Red-painted calipers sit behind the 19/20-inch interwoven wheels, keeping the visual continuity sharp.

Production of the NC1-generation NSX was deliberately restricted throughout its lifecycle, and UK-supplied examples with this level of optional equipment and sub-10,000-mile history are increasingly hard to find. The 2.9-second 0–62 mph time and 191 mph top speed place it squarely among its contemporaries, but it is the integration of the hybrid system — and how it shapes the character of the driving experience — that gives the NSX its distinct identity among modern supercars.
