Honda NSX Type-R

The NSX Type-R was Honda's stripped-out, driver-focused take on its mid-engined sports car, built only for the Japanese market. Sound insulation and comfort equipment were deleted, taking more than 120kg out of the standard car. Suspension and chassis were also revised. This one is number 0447 of 483 built.

It was first registered in Japan in June 1996 and imported to the UK in February 2016. The current owner bought it that July and has kept it in a private collection for over ten years. The car is finished in white with a gloss black roof and white forged alloy wheels. Inside are carbon-Kevlar Recaro seats, a Momo wheel, a titanium gear knob and a carbon instrument cluster with yellow needles. The speedometer now reads in mph.

It has covered 50,800 miles. The page describes a full Honda service history from both Japan and the UK, backed by a detailed file of invoices and a journey log kept by the owner. The car comes with its original manual and handbooks, spare keys, jack, tool kit, tyre inflator and space-saver spare.
