The first Focus RS arrived in the early 2000s as Ford's return to hot road cars built on its rallying success. Only 2,000 were supplied to the UK, all in Imperial Blue and to one specification. In standard form it made 212 bhp, which many owners felt was short of what the chassis deserved, so a good number were tuned.
This example has mild engine modifications that the dealer says lift output to around 300 bhp. It has covered 78,000 miles and has had five owners. The last of them kept it for ten years as part of a multi-car collection.
The page lists a good service history, with many services done at Ford dealers. The car is currently having a major service and refresh, including new tyres.
