About this car
The Portofino was Ferrari's replacement for the California T, and this 2018 example shows why the formula worked. Its 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 makes 592 bhp and 761 Nm, driving the rear wheels through a seven-speed F1 dual-clutch gearbox, and the folding hard-top turns it from a coupe into a open-air tourer in a few seconds. It has covered 15,126 miles and is finished in Blu Tour de France.
The options list is long and leans towards the driver. Carbon fibre appears on the front spoiler, rear air ducts, underdoor covers, sill kicks, central bridge and driver zone. The steering wheel is carbon with integrated LEDs, and there is a yellow rev counter, yellow brake callipers and Scuderia Ferrari shields on the front wings. Magneride dual-mode adaptive suspension is fitted, along with a parking camera, a passenger display, a high-power hi-fi and electric seats.
The cabin has a 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation, Bluetooth and DAB, plus dual-zone climate control, keyless entry and start, and front and rear parking sensors. The Atelier personalisation and the contrast belts, embroidered headrests and leather trim show a considered specification. It is the usable end of the Ferrari range, with a large boot and a quoted top speed of 199 mph.
