About this car
Ferrari's 430 Scuderia Spider 16M is the open-top finale to the F430 story, built to mark the marque's 16th Formula 1 Constructors' title and limited to 499 cars worldwide. It pairs the Scuderia's weight-saving programme and 503-class 4.3-litre flat-plane-crank V8 with a fabric roof, and it is widely regarded as the most focused and desirable road-going F430. This example is one of only around 48 right-hand-drive cars, and it is a UK-supplied car.
The car is finished in factory Grigio Opaco satin paint, a rare and much-admired choice, protected by full paint protection film. Inside it has Charcoal Alcantara upholstery and dashboard with Grigio Tessuto 3D fabric inserts, carbon fibre racing seats, Giallo Cavallino stitching in the headrests and a Bianco instrument panel. Yellow brake calipers, 20-inch dark forged wheels, a carbon fibre exterior package and carbon underdoor covers complete a spec that leans toward the track-day end of the Scuderia range.
The odometer shows just 9,290 miles from new, which is very low for a car now approaching 17 years old. Page figures give 506 bhp, 347 lb-ft, 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 196 mph, all delivered through Ferrari's F1 paddle-shift gearbox. Navtrak anti-theft, Radionavi with Bluetooth and tyre pressure monitoring are also fitted.
