Ferrari F430 GTC EVO

This is chassis 2610, one of only 14 Ferrari F430 GTCs built, the Michelotto-prepared GT2 racer that took on the American Le Mans Series, FIA GT and Le Mans. It was ordered new by winery owner and gentleman driver Pierre Ehret, one of two GTCs he specified, with extras including a data acquisition system, quick-fill equipment for water and oil, air conditioning, 24-hour race lights, a carbon clutch and uprated front brake cooling.

In 2008 it ran as car No.73 for Tafel Racing, finishing fourth in class at the Sebring 12 Hours with Ehret, Jim Tafel and Allan Simonsen sharing the driving. Consistent top-ten finishes through the season helped Tafel take second in the GT2 championship, 16 points behind the Flying Lizard Porsche 911 RSR. A later owner returned it to competition for part of the 2012 Pirelli World Challenge, where David Welch scored three more top-ten finishes.

The car has been restored to its 2008 Sebring livery and was prepared in 2019 by marque specialist Bob Houghton. Since then it has done a handful of private track days. It is described as highly original and is eligible for Peter Auto Endurance Racing Legends, Masters Endurance Legends and Ferrari Clienti events. Price is on application.
