The Dino 246 GTS was Ferrari's open-topped take on its mid-engined V6 sports car, with a removable targa roof and an exhaust note to match. This is chassis 07610, one of only 258 right-hand-drive 246 GTS models built, and it was supplied new through Maranello Concessionaires in the UK. It still has its original engine, gearbox and running gear.
The car left the factory in Verde Germoglio but is now finished in Nocciola Metallizzato with beige Connolly leather, Daytona-style seat inserts and Cinnamon wool carpets. That is a period-correct combination, though not the original one. It was repainted Rosso Corsa in an 1985 restoration, then fully restored again in 2014, with mechanical work by Carrs Ferrari in Exeter.
The history file is extensive, with records and photographs of both restorations. Seven stamps are recorded in the post-restoration service book, the latest service came in January 2025, and a new set of Michelin XWX tyres was fitted at the same time. The car also retains its original tool kit, jack, spare keys, manuals and warranty card. It shows 83,040 miles and has had five owners listed.
