2014 Ferrari California T

The California T marked a turning point for Ferrari's entry-level GT, swapping the naturally aspirated V8 of the original California for a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged unit and sharpening the whole car in the process. This 2014 example, finished in a two-tone Argento Nürburgring over Nero Daytona Metallic with a Nero roof, has covered 36,000 miles and comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox driving the rear wheels.

The specification leans towards the sporting end of the options list. Carbon ceramic brakes with Nero calipers, Magneride dual-mode suspension and an adaptive frontlight system are all fitted, along with carbon fibre sill kicks, wheel centre caps and a carbon driver zone with LEDs. Inside, the Nero leather is paired with Alcantara seat inserts in Charcoal, herringbone-style seats, Grigio Chiaro stitching and Cavallino embroidery on the headrests, with Nero Alcantara on the A-pillars. Front and rear parking cameras, a premium hi-fi and fully electric seats cover the practical side.

The folding hard-top turns the California T into a usable year-round grand tourer, while the turbocharged V8 delivers far stronger mid-range torque than the car it replaced. The two-tone paintwork and carbon-heavy cabin make this a more distinctive spec than most.
