2011 Ferrari 599 SA Aperta
£900,000(estimated - POA)
About this car
Only 80 Ferrari 599 SA Aperta roadsters were built, to mark Pininfarina's 80th anniversary. This one is believed to be one of just eight right-hand-drive cars delivered to the UK. It uses the 599 GTO's 6.0-litre naturally aspirated V12, which makes 661 bhp and 457 ft-lb. Power goes through a 6-speed F1 single-clutch gearbox. The car does 0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds and tops out at 202 mph. A lower ride height and recalibrated dampers set the chassis apart from the standard 599.
This car is finished in Blu Scuro, a historical Ferrari colour that goes back to the grand tourers of the 1960s. It has a Blu soft top. The roof panels are carbon fibre painted in Grigio. It also has the 599 GTO front bumper and grille. Inside are charcoal leather, carbon fibre racing seats with Bianco accents, blue seatbelts and leather carpets. Other fitted options include 20-inch chrome-finish wheels, aluminium brake callipers and front and rear parking sensors.
The odometer shows just 4,405 miles from 2011. The car comes with its original books, an extensive history file and Ferrari Classiche certification. That documentation matters on a car this rare. The 599 SA Aperta is among the scarcest open-top V12 Ferraris of its era. The price is on application.
