Ferrari 550 Maranello

The 550 Maranello brought the front-engined V12 Ferrari back to basics after the mid-engined Testarossa era, with a Pininfarina body and a six-speed manual gearbox. It is widely regarded as one of the last great manual Ferrari flagships, and its reputation has grown steadily as such cars have become scarcer.

This 2000 car is a right-hand-drive UK-supplied example, one of 457 sold in the market. It is finished in Rosso Corsa over a Crema interior, with Daytona seats, a quilted leather rear shelf and headlining, and ceramic Scuderia shields. It also has the Fiorano handling package and 18-inch Modular Speedline wheels of the type fitted to the 550 Barchetta.

The odometer shows 30,000 miles. The dealer says the car has been prepared to concours standard and the bodywork is covered in a clear protective film. The page does not give the number of keepers, the service history or the registration.
