Ferrari 488 Pista Piloti

The 488 Pista Piloti is among the rarest and most significant derivatives of the 488 platform. Created to celebrate Ferrari's 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship victory with the factory 488 GTE, it was built in strictly limited numbers for clients embedded in Ferrari's Corse Clienti racing programme — each example individually numbered and representing a direct link to the factory motorsport effort, not simply a cosmetic specification.

This example, finished in Argento Nurburgring — the silver pulled from the championship-winning GTE's livery — has covered just 77 miles from new, retaining its original delivery condition under a single owner. The options list reads like a carbon fibre catalogue: 20-inch CF wheels, front splitter and aero flaps, lateral air intake splitters, rear diffuser, racing seats, tunnel trim, and engine compartment are all in carbon, supplemented by Inconel exhaust manifolds, carbon ceramic brakes, and a dry sump lubrication system. Inside, the Alcantara Nero cabin carries the full Tailor Made Piloti treatment — white-faced tachometer, Rosso contrast stitching, stitched Cavallino headrests, and a silver numbered nameplate.

The 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8, derived directly from the 488 Challenge race car, produces 711 bhp and pulls to 211 mph. Magnetorheological suspension, an electronic differential, and Side Slip Control make the chassis deeply capable without requiring race-track conditions to access. With the mid-engined V8 lineage now replaced by the hybrid 296 architecture, a Piloti of this calibre and mileage represents a closed chapter in Ferrari's history.
