Ferrari 488 Pista

Chassis-level aggression meets some distinctly un-Ferrari colour thinking on this 2019 488 Pista. The Pista's 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 produces 711 bhp and 567 ft-lb, the most powerful V8 Maranello had built at the time, and it is good for 211 mph. Its track-derived aero and engine are drawn from the 488 Challenge and GTE racing programmes, and this one has covered just 11,150 miles.

The colour scheme is the headline. The body is finished in Historic Grigio Ferro Metallic, split by a two-tone stripe in Gloss Nero Stellato and Tri-Coat Giallo that runs down the centre of the car. Carbon fibre is used extensively outside, including the front splitter, front flaps, side skirts, side air splitters, rear diffuser and rear mouldings, plus carbon hub caps, with silver 20-inch forged wheels, yellow brake callipers and black tailpipe tips completing the exterior. A long and narrow Italian flag sits above the rear badge, and Scuderia Ferrari shields are fitted.

Inside, the cabin is trimmed in Nero Alcantara with Giallo detailing, including Cavallino stitching in the headrests and a yellow rev counter. Matte-finish carbon runs throughout, and the car has large carbon racing seats. Useful options include the front suspension lifter, parking camera, Apple CarPlay, the High Emotion Low Emission pack and a heat-insulating windscreen. The car has had three owners from new and a full Ferrari service history, and factory-fitted paint protection film covers the front and lower sides.
