About this car

The 488 GTB represented Ferrari's return to forced induction for its mid-engine V8 road car after a 25-year gap, and the twin-turbocharged 3.9-litre unit proved the sceptics wrong — 660 bhp, a 3-second 0–62 time, and a 205 mph top speed, delivered with a precision and immediacy that belied the turbochargers entirely. It remains one of the more complete driver's cars Ferrari has produced, with a chassis that communicates as fluently as the engine performs.

This 2016 car has covered just 9,300 miles from new — under 1,000 miles a year on average — and is finished in Bianco Italia over a Nero leather interior, a combination that suits the 488's aggressive surfacing well. The factory options list is extensive, centred on a comprehensive carbon fibre package: front splitter, underdoor covers, side air splitters, rear airducts and diffuser, engine covers, carbon race seats, drivers zone with LEDs, dashboard insert, central bridge, and exterior sill kick plates. The cabin is further specified with Alcantara door panels and lower dashboard, Cavallino-stitched headrests in Bianco, and coloured mats with logo.

Beyond the carbon, the car carries Scuderia shields, titanium exhaust pipes, a JBL sound system, adaptive front lighting, electrochromic mirrors in both cabin and exterior, aluminium brake calipers, and 20-inch forged diamond-cut wheels. The front end has been protected with PPF. Full Ferrari service history from new accompanies the car.
