About this car

This 2017 488 GTB is finished in Nero Daytona over a beige leather interior, a combination that suits the car's lines without shouting about it. The twin-turbo 3.9-litre V8 produces 660 bhp and pushes the car to 62 mph in around three seconds on the way to a 205 mph top speed. It was the car that replaced the naturally aspirated 458 and moved Ferrari's mid-engined V8 into the turbocharged era.

The specification is thorough. Inside, it has fully electric and heated Daytona seats, Cavallino stitching on the headrests, an Alcantara rear wall, a passenger display, a yellow rev counter and a carbon fibre driving zone with LED shift lights. Outside and underneath, the car has carbon fibre front spoiler, side air splitters, rear air ducts and rear diffuser, as well as yellow brake callipers, titanium exhaust tips, Scuderia shields and 20-inch forged wheels. Practical additions include a suspension lifter, front and rear cameras and sensors, Apple CarPlay, adaptive front lights and a JBL sound system.

Mileage stands at 19,900, which is modest for the age, and the history is consistent. Eight main dealer services are recorded from new, from 9,232 miles in April 2018 through to 19,638 miles in March 2025. These were carried out by HR Owen, JCT 600 and Jardine Ferrari, with the most recent at Stratstone Sevenoaks. The annual mileage has dropped to a few hundred miles a year since 2021, so the car has been used sparingly in recent years.
