2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta
£950,000(estimated - POA)
About this car
Only 426 miles from new, this Avorio 458 Speciale Aperta is a rare thing even among rare cars. Ferrari built just 499 Speciale Apertas, the last open-top mid-engined V8 to pair a naturally aspirated engine with the Special Series treatment, and this is believed to be one of only 49 right-hand-drive cars. Its 4.5-litre V8 makes 597 bhp at 9,000rpm, and the folding aluminium hardtop adds only around 50kg over the coupé, which keeps the Fiorano lap time identical at 1:23.5.
The specification is what sets it apart. Avorio is a Ferrari Historical colour with roots in the marque's 1950s competition cars, and the original owner left off the racing stripe entirely, leaving the bodywork uninterrupted. Inside is Cuoio leather, a combination rarely seen on any Speciale, with Tessuto Nero on the centre seats and headliner, carbon racing seats, a yellow rev counter and Scuderia Ferrari shields on the fenders. Outside, 20-inch forged matte Grigio Corsa wheels, a carbon rear diffuser and paint protection film on the front bumper complete the car.
At this mileage the car is effectively unused. It comes with a Romans International Platinum Warranty and is offered at a price on application.
