2015 Ferrari 458 Speciale Aperta

Only 49 of the 499 Speciale Aperta convertibles were built in right-hand drive, and this is one of them: a UK-supplied car showing just 2,920 miles. The Aperta carries over the Speciale's 4.5-litre naturally aspirated V8, an International Engine of the Year winner, which sends power to the rear wheels at 9,000rpm. Ferrari quotes 0-62mph in 3.0 seconds, helped by magnetic dampers and a heavily weight-conscious build.

The colour combination is among the most sought-after for the model: Giallo Triplo Strato paint with a Blu Nart racing stripe, Scuderia Ferrari shields and blue brake callipers. Carbon fibre is used across the side skirts, front and rear flaps, wheel caps, B-post trim and front air vents, while titanium exhaust pipes, an AFS system and a suspension lifter cover the practical and performance sides. Full paint protection film is fitted.

Inside, Nero Alcantara is paired with Giallo Filo Speciale stitching, a Cavallino embroidered in yellow on the headrests, Giallo seatbelts and large carbon racing seats with Giallo 3D Tessuto inserts. The yellow rev counter is a signature Speciale detail. Radionavi with Bluetooth, a parking camera and front and rear sensors are included, and the car comes with full history and supporting documentation.
