The 458 Speciale A was the last open-top Ferrari to use a naturally aspirated mid-mounted V8. Production was capped at 499 cars. It pairs the 4.5-litre engine, which makes 597 bhp at 9,000rpm, with a retractable aluminium hardtop and the active aerodynamics of the Speciale coupe. It is said to weigh only 50kg more than the coupe.
This car is a right-hand-drive example, believed to be one of 49 built that way, and it has covered just 426 miles. The specification is unusual. It is finished in the Ferrari historical colour Avorio, with no racing stripe and a Cuoio leather interior, a combination rarely seen on a Speciale of either body style.
Options include 20-inch forged matte Grigio Corsa wheels, carbon racing seats, a carbon rear diffuser, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields and a yellow rev counter. The front bumper has paint protection film. The car is listed as sold.
