About this car
The Ferrari 430 Scuderia is the road-going F430 stripped back and sharpened, developed with input from Michael Schumacher and drawing on Ferrari's F1 and Challenge programmes. Its 4.3-litre flat-plane-crank V8 makes 503 bhp and 471 Nm, sent through the 6-speed F1-SuperFast2 automated manual with 60-millisecond shifts. A 100 kg weight saving over the F430 helps deliver 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds and a 198 mph top speed, while E-Diff2, F1-Trac and carbon-ceramic brakes keep it composed.
This 2008 car has covered 28,800 miles and is finished in Rosso Scuderia over a Nero 3D Technical Cloth and Alcantara interior. The options list is unusually focused on the car's track-minded character: a carbon fibre steering wheel with upper crown LEDs, carbon door sills, Grigio racing stripes, switchable sports exhaust, Rosso four-point harnesses, Rosso Scuderia brake calipers and a fire extinguisher. An Argento dedication plate and Rosso stitching add further individual touches, and the car also has an integrated radio satnav and iPod installation.
The car is offered with full Ferrari and Ferrari specialist service history. With naturally aspirated V8 response and Formula 1-derived engineering, the Scuderia is one of the most collectible special-series V8 Ferraris, and mileage in the 28,000 range is modest for an example that has clearly been used rather than stored.
