The 365 GTC/4 is the comfortable sibling of the Daytona: same chassis and V12 block, but with softer springs, power steering and side-draft Weber carburettors in place of the Daytona's downdraft set-up. Only 505 were built in about two years, which makes it a scarce car among 1970s Ferraris.
This example was delivered new to Paris in February 1972 in silver over black. It stayed in France until 1999, then spent time in the USA, where it was repainted Giallo Fly, before moving to a Swiss owner in 2013. The selling dealer bought it in 2017 for a storage client. It is now in Nero with a black Connolly leather interior, and the odometer reads 99,470 km.
Switzerland brought a documented mechanical restoration costing about £110k, covering a full engine and gearbox rebuild, suspension overhaul and a stripped and repainted underside. Later work included a carburettor set-up on a rolling road, a stainless exhaust, adjustable Koni rear dampers, new carpets and retrimmed ProBax front seats. The original seats, dampers and Blaupunkt radio come with the car, along with the restoration invoices and photos.
