About this car
The Diva GT was a small British club-racing special built in the 1960s, with a tubular steel spaceframe, a glass-fibre body and independent suspension with disc brakes. Ford four-cylinder engines of 1.0 to 1.65 litres were fitted, and John Miles and Jackie Oliver, both later Formula One drivers, raced the model.
This car is chassis D32, finished in metallic blue with a black interior. The page gives the year as 1965 in the text and 1964 in the details table. It raced in Germany for several years before its current owner bought it in 2017. It then went to Piper Specialist Vehicles for a full restoration: chassis, GRP bodywork and respray, a rebuild of the 1300cc pre-crossflow Ford engine, a suspension upgrade and a brake overhaul.
It is right-hand drive with a manual gearbox and comes with a current V5 and a history file of invoices and photographs of the rebuild. Viewing is by appointment.
