Chevrolet Corvette Stingray T-Top

This 1972 Corvette Stingray is a C3 with the removable T-top roof, powered by the 5.7-litre L48 small-block V8 and paired with an automatic gearbox. The 1972 model year is a popular one for the C3, as it was among the last to carry the earlier, more delicate styling before the larger impact bumpers arrived. It is finished in Elkhart Green Metallic over a tan vinyl interior.

The engine has been reworked well beyond standard, with new aluminium heads, a Comp Cams camshaft and roller-tipped rockers, a Holley 670 carburettor on a dual-plane manifold, headers and a Flowmaster exhaust. The cooling system has a new aluminium radiator with an electric fan, and the automatic gearbox has a 2200 stall converter. The rear mono spring has been fitted with new shocks, and the front springs have also been renewed.

The car was imported from the USA in 2016 and shows 70,600 miles with one previous owner recorded. A major service costing over £10,000 has recently been carried out, and new tyres have been fitted.
