2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
£63,950
About this car
The ZL1 is the car that took the Camaro from muscle-car pastiche to a genuine rival for European sports coupes, and this Garnet Red Tintcoat example shows why. Its supercharged 6.2-litre LT4 V8 makes 650 bhp and 650 lb ft, sent to the rear wheels through the 10-speed automatic. Magnetic Ride Control, an electronic limited-slip differential and Brembo brakes give it a chassis to match the engine. This car has covered 10,433 miles.
The specification is strong. It has 20-inch forged ZL1 wheels, an electric glass sunroof, the Performance Data Recorder and MyLink satellite navigation. Inside are Recaro sports seats in black and grey leather and Alcantara, a head-up display, a BOSE audio system and heated and ventilated front seats. Exposed carbon fibre appears on the fuel cap and bonnet insert. Sympathetic upgrades include a Roto-Fab air intake, DBA front discs with braided hoses and Carbotech pads.
The car was supplied new through Faulkner Chevrolet Cadillac in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and first registered in New York in December 2017. It came to the UK early and was first registered here on 1 May 2018. It has stayed in the UK since and has been regularly serviced. It is offered with a Romans International Platinum Warranty.
