This 1951 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible has had a full restoration by Cadillac specialists in the USA, returning it to factory specification. The engine and transmission were removed and rebuilt, and the electrical and hydraulic systems were tested at the same time.
It is finished in its original Mist Gray Metallic, with red leather and a black soft top, and the page says the paint and trim match the factory body tag. It was well equipped when new, at $3,066.16, with automatic heat control, fog lights, wheel discs, a windscreen washer and a vanity mirror. The page says all of these are still fitted, apart from the original tyres. A 1950 workshop manual and the 1951 model-year supplement come with the car.
It was serviced in 2022 at 31,962 miles, and the indicated mileage is now 32,108. The work covered fluids and filters, the rear axle, greasing, brake and tracking adjustments, and a repair to the hydraulic system that operates the roof and windows. The car also passed an MOT. It is UK registered as PXS375. The listing shows the price as accepted, so the car is probably spoken for.
