About this car
The G81 M3 Competition Touring is already a rare thing — a 545 bhp all-wheel-drive estate with a motorsport pedigree — but this 2024 example has been taken considerably further. A Tom Wrigley remap pushes output to 800 bhp, supported by a Scorpion exhaust with carbon tips, a full mid-pipe section with sports cats, and a complete Sqoodoo carbon fibre exterior kit. At 11,000 miles from new, it's barely been used since these modifications were applied. The colour combination is striking: Isle of Man Green over BMW Individual Full Merino Leather in Fiona Red — a bold pairing that works precisely because neither colour is trying to be subtle.
The factory specification was already at the top end of the options list. M Carbon Bucket Seats and the M Carbon Exterior Package are fitted alongside the Ultimate Package, with Harman Kardon surround audio, Parking Assistant Plus, a Drive Recorder, heated M steering wheel, and Extended Shadowline trim throughout. The xDrive all-wheel drive system — standard on the Touring — keeps the power manageable, channelled through BMW's 8-speed M Steptronic gearbox.
Full BMW service history from new is present, which provides meaningful reassurance given the extent of the power modifications. The 0–62 time of 3.6 seconds represents the stock figure; real-world performance with 800 bhp on tap will be considerably more aggressive. A practical, fast estate in a memorable spec.
