The BMW i8 Roadster is the open-top expression of BMW's radical plug-in hybrid sports car — built around a carbon fibre LifeDrive monocoque and clothed in bodywork that still reads as genuinely futuristic nearly a decade on. This 2019 example has covered just 8,454 miles from new, placing it among the lower-mileage Roadsters currently on the used market for a car of its age.

The specification is well assembled. The exterior wears Sophisto Grey with Frozen Grey Accents — a factory paint combination that suits the i8's sculpted surfacing — sitting on 20-inch Jet Black i Radial Spoke alloys (Style 516). Inside, BMW's i Spheric full perforated leather in Black-Ivory White gives the cabin a light, airy feel, supported by heated, electrically adjusted front seats with driver memory. The optional eDrive Exterior Sound system adds synthesised audio at low speeds where the 1.5L turbocharged three-cylinder would otherwise be near-silent.
