This is a 1960 Bentley S2 Continental with four-door coachwork by James Young of Bromley, one of only 17 built to this design. The S2 Continental was the chassis for coachbuilders, and James Young's saloon bodies are among the more elegant results. It has a 6,230cc V8 with twin SU carburettors, a four-speed automatic gearbox and power steering.
The car is finished in Midnight Blue with Dove Grey hide. It has had three owners, the latest of whom kept it for more than 50 years. It retains its original Bentley registration number, tools and handbook.
Work listed includes a bare-metal restoration and respray, new leather trim, re-chroming and re-lacquered woodwork. The engine has been overhauled, with a new radiator, battery and power steering, plus a new high-torque starter with the original kept. Headlamps have been converted to halogen. It is sold serviced and with an MOT.
