Bentley Brooklands R Mulliner

This is car number 67 of just 100 Brooklands R Mulliners built by Bentley. It was supplied new through Murray Motor Co in Edinburgh in late 1998 and has had seven owners since. The 6.75-litre turbocharged V8 produces 325 bhp, and the car has covered 67,088 miles.

The Mulliner specification is extensive. The Sherwood Mica paint is paired with green badging, colour-coded bumper lips, a painted radiator shell with chrome mesh, Weybridge-style wing vents and 18-inch P960 alloys. Inside, Sandstone hide runs up into the headlining. The Turbo R sports seats have Spruce piping and embossed headrests, and the perforated-hide wheel, drilled pedals and burr walnut dials add to the detail.

The original service manual carries 15 stamps, from franchised Bentley dealers and then marque specialists including H.R. Owen, Harvey Wash, Colbrook and Mark Taylor. Mark Taylor most recently carried out a full service in June, with new brake hoses, both hydraulic accumulator spheres, drive belts and a transmission control module. An air conditioning condenser was fitted in 2022. The dealer notes the paintwork could be improved.
