Bentley Arnage 4.4 V8

This Arnage was delivered new in June 1998, a couple of weeks before Volkswagen took over Bentley, which makes it one of the last cars of the old Crewe regime. It uses the Cosworth-developed 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, rated at 349 bhp and 420 lb ft and paired with a five-speed ZF automatic. It is finished in Silver Pearl with a Cotswold leather and French Navy interior.

Fewer than 59,000 miles in 28 years is modest use, and the service record backs it up. The book is stamped from the first three services at supplying dealer Stratton Motor Company through to marque specialists Michael Hibberd Motor Engineers and Silver Lady. The original book pack is present.

Recent work includes new rear dampers in 2023, and in 2025 an electrical fix that took in a new indicator switch and two lambda sensors, plus engine, transmission and axle oil services. It is sold with a fresh MOT and service, and the private registration RFA 39 is included.
