2024 BAC Mono R

With only 30 built worldwide, the BAC Mono R is the most extreme expression of the single-seat Mono formula. It is lighter, more powerful and more aerodynamically developed than the standard car, using graphene-enhanced carbon fibre, revised suspension and a more highly tuned 2.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder. The result is 343 bhp in a car that makes no pretence of being anything other than a road-legal racing machine, with a claimed 0-62 mph time of 2.5 seconds and a 170 mph top speed.

This 2024 car is UK-supplied and has had one owner from new, covering just 1,921 miles. It is finished in a bespoke Visible Clear Carbon scheme, a £36,000 option that leaves the weave exposed, paired with a black Alcantara interior. Further options include carbon hybrid wheels, a made-to-measure seat, a carbon steering wheel and interior panels, a track exhaust system, a cockpit storm cover and paint protection film.

The original list price was around £364,137, and this example is offered VAT qualifying. Power goes through a 6-speed sequential gearbox, and the central driving position and minimal weight give an experience closer to a single-seater than to any conventional hypercar.
