The RS2 Avant was the first Audi to carry the RS badge, a collaboration with Porsche that paired a turbocharged 2.2-litre five-cylinder with Quattro four-wheel drive and a six-speed manual gearbox. Porsche hand-assembled the cars at Zuffenhausen and added its own brakes, Cup-style wheels and 993-era mirrors. Only 2,891 were built, with around 180 in right-hand drive.
This is a UK-supplied right-hand-drive car in Nogaro Blue, with blue Alcantara and black leather Recaro seats. It has covered about 168,500 miles. Modifications include a Milltek exhaust, Bilstein dampers, H&R springs and a modified Bosch ECU, and it also has a sunroof, roof rack and air conditioning.
The history file records an underbody refurbishment by QSTuning in 2018 and a cambelt service in 2019. The latest service was in October 2023 at 167,690 miles, and the car passed its MOT that month with no advisories. It was shown at the Goodwood Road Racing Club display in 2017 and featured in Classic & Sports Car's buyer's guide in August 2023.
