This is chassis 0303, built by Audi Sport in 2011 and the first Audi R8 LMS GT3 to win a race in America. James Sofronas of GMG Racing took it to three overall victories in the 2013 Pirelli World Challenge, at St Petersburg, Long Beach and Austin. He finished second in the championship that year.
It was upgraded to Ultra specification ahead of the 2014 season, with a revised rear wing, deeper front splitter, carbon doors, polycarbonate windows and wider wheels. It still wears GMG's blue and white livery. After GMG, it went to a US enthusiast in 2016 and was used on private track days. Conquest Racing serviced and set it up in 2021.
The engine has covered 7,100km since a major service and the gearbox 3,800km since a rebuild, both within Audi's service intervals. A new fuel cell will be supplied, along with an extra set of wheels. The car is UK taxes paid and is eligible for historic GT3 series in the UK and Europe. The price is on enquiry.
