£595,000
About this car
The Vantage AMR Pro is the most extreme expression of Aston Martin's naturally aspirated V8 era, and this is one of just seven built worldwide. Conceived as a track-only special, it drew directly on the marque's GTE programme: a removable vented bonnet, wider front wings, a GTE-style rear wing and a 4.7-litre V8 developed from the Vantage GT4 race car, all backed by a titanium exhaust. Journalists at Top Gear reckoned it was louder than a Vulcan track car.
What sets this example apart is that it has been fully converted for road use and registered in the UK, which is a rarity even among an already tiny run. It is finished in Stirling Green with Lime Green livery, with 19-inch magnesium wheels, carbon side sills, a Q half roll cage, Q carbon fibre braces and a reversing camera. Inside are AMR full racing bucket seats trimmed in Dark Knight Alcantara, six-point harnesses and a quick-release AMR racing steering wheel.
It has covered only around 1,869 miles from new. The page lists 430 bhp and 361 ft-lb, with 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds and a 190 mph top speed. Power is sent to the rear through a 7-speed Sportshift II automated manual. Few road-legal cars combine this level of motorsport provenance, rarity and an analogue V8 soundtrack.
