Aston Martin DBS

Aston Martin's DBS is the brutish flagship of the Gaydon range, and this 2022 car pairs its 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 with a restrained but purposeful specification. Output is 715 bhp and 900 Nm, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed ZF automatic, with a quoted top speed of 211 mph. It is finished in silver, which lets the factory-option contrast details do the talking.

Those details are what set this car apart from a standard DBS. Black Aston Martin badges and scripts, smoked tail lights and privacy glass give it a darker, more menacing stance, while Vivid Orange brake calipers show through 21-inch lightweight twinspoke forged wheels in gloss black. Inside, a Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio system is fitted, a worthwhile upgrade for a car that spends much of its time covering long distances at speed.

The car has covered 8,637 miles from new and is registered 72-plate. One service from a pre-paid service package remains, which is a useful bonus for the next owner. With the DBS now the final word in Aston's front-engined V12 grand tourers, a low-mileage, carefully optioned example like this is an appealing one.
