Listed today at Desmond J Smail, Olney. Last checked today.
The DBS was William Towns' wider, more modern successor to the DB6, and only 829 were built between 1967 and 1972. This one used the six-cylinder engine because the Tadek Marek V8 wasn't yet ready, and it left the factory in March 1969.
It still wears its original combination of Silver Birch paint over black Connolly leather. First registered through H.R. Owen to a London owner, it had two further keepers before Desmond J Smail took it in 2007.
The fourth owner commissioned a comprehensive restoration, finished in 2011. It included a bare-metal respray in the original colour, an engine rebuild to 4.2-litre Cosworth specification and a full re-trim of the carpets. The current keeper has had it serviced and maintained exclusively by the selling dealer.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Aston Martin factory-quoted engine data for the standard 4.0-litre six-cylinder DBS (282 bhp gross); weight, top speed and 0-60 omitted as period figures are mainly road-test, not factory, data.).
£125,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
