Aston Martin DB9 Manual

A 2007 DB9 coupe with the rare six-speed manual gearbox fitted from new. The Aston Martin Heritage Trust is said to have confirmed that no other DB9 coupe was built to this exact specification. Most DB9s of the period were automatics, so a manual car is unusual.

The most recent owner spent around £40,000 over less than three years, aiming for concours standard. The work includes a full repaint with paint protection film over it, later clear rear lights and the later stepped five-bar grille. The leather has been cleaned and re-coloured by a Connolly-approved specialist, and the seat foams have been replaced. New veneers replace the factory walnut on the door cappings and centre console.

Mechanically, all four wheels have been refurbished and the car has new brake discs and calipers. All twelve spark plugs and coils were changed about 7,000 miles ago. The old navigation has been replaced with an Apple CarPlay unit with an HD screen and reversing camera. The car has covered 46,000 miles and was serviced by Works Service and Nicholas Mee over the past three years.
